Like fictional Jamie, you may be thinking about a career change while supporting a family. Write down your questions about work hours, travel, training costs and childcare. Ask a prospective employer about the support they can actually offer.
Understand the sponsor’s role
A sponsor is the employer or organization responsible for supporting your apprenticeship training. Finding one and registering your Training Agreement are separate steps. A conversation does not guarantee a job or registration.
