Practical by design
Training planned around tools, vehicles, repair procedures and real-world production expectations.
A proposed skilled-trades college rooted in more than four decades of collision-repair experience and a belief that the best way to learn the trade is to work alongside people who know it.
Without Mario Menna’s vision and personal investment, this proposed college would not be taking shape.
As the owner of Elite Auto Collision, Mario is putting his own money into developing a place where young people can discover a trade, build practical skills and learn alongside experienced professionals.
For more than 30 years, Mario has advocated learning on the job—developing skills through practice alongside experienced professionals.
His motivation is to offer a positive path to young people who may not yet see an opportunity for themselves: a place to belong, people who will guide them and meaningful work to grow toward.
The college is still in development. Community support can help make the need for this kind of opportunity heard.
Stand behind the visionElite Auto Collision has served the Toronto community for more than 40 years. The proposed college builds on that operating experience to help address a challenge felt across the industry: too few new technicians entering and completing the trade.
Our vision is a focused learning environment where technical instruction, professional standards and daily shop practice reinforce one another—giving learners a clearer path from first skill to confident employment.

A planned 12-person cohort model designed for attention, feedback and accountability.
The proposed leadership team brings together collision-repair ownership, Red Seal trade expertise and Ontario education experience. That mix is intended to keep training technically relevant, accessible and connected to employer needs.
