An interesting car can catch your eye. A shop visit can show you the work beneath its appearance. Ontario’s 310B trade includes wheel alignment and work on steering and suspension components.
Look beyond the bodywork
Skilled Trades Ontario includes alignment in 310B in-school training. This is one part of a wider trade that combines workplace learning and classes. Watching a demonstration does not qualify someone to perform the work.
Bring a useful question
Ask your shop host: “What does this check tell you?” Then ask how the result connects to the repair plan. Listen to the explanation and follow the shop’s safety instructions. This article is an introduction, not repair instructions.
Turn curiosity into a next step
If you are in high school, write down what interested you. Discuss it with your guidance counsellor or teacher and ask about suitable ways to explore 310B. A visit does not register you as an apprentice or automatically count as apprenticeship credit.
