Ask about the thinking
On a supervised shop visit, ask: “What do you check before deciding what needs replacing?” Listen to the explanation. Do not touch wiring or try a test yourself; follow the shop’s visitor rules.
Observation is a starting point
310B apprenticeship combines workplace training and classes. Watching a demonstration helps you explore an interest. It does not qualify you to carry out the work or automatically count as apprenticeship credit.
Take one question with you
If you enjoy tracing a problem rather than guessing, this is another side of collision repair to explore. Write down a question for your teacher, guidance counsellor or apprenticeship sponsor.
